How to change an app icon on your MacBook:
Once you have all app icons saved to your device, please follow the below steps.
Important: The instructions below are to change the icon of thirdparty apps, such as Google Chrome, Slack, Photoshop, etc. You will need to follow “Part 2 Instructions – How to change an Applerelated app icons on your MacBook” to change the app icon for Apple-related apps, such as Messages, Calendar, Music, and Podcasts.

Download the ScreenKit app from the Mac App Store.

Step Two
Download the icon images for your chosen theme from the ScreenKit app on your Mac. Save it to your desktop.

Once you have tapped Choose, search for the app you want to change the icon of, and select it. For this tutorial, we select “Instagram”. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner. Tap Add to Home Screen.

Open Finder. Click Applications.

Right click on the app whose icon you’d like to change. Select ‘Get Info’.

Right-click the desired icon image on your desktop. Select ‘Open With’.

Select ‘Preview’. While in Preview navigate to the top navigation bar. Click ‘Edit’. Click ‘Copy’.

Navigate back to the app’s Get Info window. Click the small app icon at the top left of the window. Press Command + V on your keyboard. Close the Get Info window

Close the app, and if needed, clear it from your dock or add to your dock. Reopen your app.

Right click on the new duplicate app and select Rename. Rename the app to whatever you would like. Select ‘Get Info’.

If you would like to add the new app icon back to your dock, long-press on the icon and select Options, then choose Keep in Dock.
How to restore to original app icon logo:
